Axis Communications is offering a new upgrade2 for all AXIS Camera Station Version 1 users to the recently launched AXIS Camera Station 2.0. AXIS Camera Station offers automatic camera installation, a new easier user interface, MPEG-4 recording, audit log and multi-lingual versions covering French, Italian, Spanish, German as well as English. AXIS Camera Station is scalable for up to 25 cameras and offers live viewing of up to 16 simultaneously, motion detection, archiving, remote access via a web browser or Windows PC, user access control, advanced searching and support for AXIS Image Enhancer for spotting details in poor visibility. IndigoVision IP Video Analytics Maximise Schiphol Airport Safety

Schiphol, Amsterdam’s International Airport, is using IndigoVision’s IP Video analytics to prevent accidental or malicious intrusion onto runway and hangar areas. With over 20m passengers passing through the Netherlands’ busiest airport each year, the airport operators were keen to deploy the latest technology to help improve the safety and security of aircraft movements. The analytics algorithms, which are part of IndigoVision’s end-to-end IP Video solution, run in real time at the camera ensuring that operations staff in the dedicated control room are alerted automatically to intrusions as they are detected.
