posted on 14/10/2011

Digital Ally, Inc.'s DVM-100 in-car video system is designed specifically for those law enforcement agencies that need a high quality digital in-car video system, but are budget-constrained due to reduced funds and tax revenues at the state, county and/or municipal level. The complete DVM-100 system is priced at only $1,895. “We believe this is the lowest-priced digital in-car video system currently on the market that is compatible with the needs of law enforcement agencies,” noted Ken McCoy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Digital Ally, Inc. “The DVM-100 offers customers a complete digital in-car video system that is incorporated into a rear view mirror. This is in keeping with Digital Ally’s DVM-750 and DVM-500Plus systems that have been installed in law enforcement vehicle fleets throughout the world.” “We recognize how difficult it has been for some departments to afford in-car video systems, or as many as they need, during a period of declining tax revenues,” stated ... posted on 10/10/2011

Since its creation in June 2000 the Betfair betting exchange has grown to more than 3 million members and processes many millions of bets every single day. Reports that Betfair has lost the details of around 3.15 million customers, including payment and bank details of some of its clients, have been met with astonishment by Lieberman Software. “Reading through the report in the Daily Telegraph business section– and cross-referencing this to the flotation prospectus from last year – reveals that 3.15 million account user names with encrypted security questions, 2.9 million of which included address data and approaching 90,000 bank account details, were apparently accessed by hackers in the Far East,” said Philip Lieberman, President and Chief Executive ofLieberman Software. “The majority of gamblers on Betfair use debit or credit cards to fund their accounts, along with Paypal, Moneybookers and other forms of electronic cash, so it is reasonable to assume that the payment card creden...
