Synectics' all HD-IP digital recording solution deployed at Resorts World Casino New York City

The Genting Group is a global entertainment and tourism company operating in Asia, Europe, North America and on all four oceans through the Norwegian Cruise Line and Star Cruises brands. The Genting Group has chosen a turnkey surveillance solution from Synectics for its new property, Resorts World Casino New York City. As Genting’s first venture in North America and the first gaming property in the five boroughs of New York City, Resorts World New York is set to open in late summer 2011 at the Aqueduct Racetrack, with a 400,000 square foot casino. At the opening, Resorts World will offer 2,280 video lottery terminals and 205 electronic table games, but will expand to over 5,000 gaming machines by the end of the year. North Star Mohican Casino expands IndigoVision's surveillance system to cover new resort hotel complex

Three years ago the North Star Mohican Casino in Wisconsin upgraded its surveillance capability with an integrated solution using IndigoVision’s IP Video technology. The surveillance system has now been further expanded to cover the new resort hotel complex opened at the end of 2010. The system integrates CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, panic alarms and Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) into a single unified system that transformed the casino’s operation. Over 180 new cameras have been added to the hotel complex, which are monitored in the existing surveillance control room, together with the casino’s original 450+ cameras. Operators use ‘Control Center’, IndigoVision’s Video Management Software (VMS) to view live video, analyze recorded footage and manage alarms from all of the other integrated systems. Smartec's new PTZ camera can be used in traditional CCTV systems and extreme environmental conditions

Thanks to Smartec STC-3906's 360 ° rotation both in horizontal and vertical planes, new PTZ camera can be recommended both for traditional CCTV systems and objects with extreme environmental conditions. The original PTZ mechanism provides 360 ° rotation of the camera both in horizontal and vertical planes. For automatic tracking this PTZ camera allows the operator to set up to 8 guarding tours, including up to 60 positions of pan/tilt and zoom lens.
