Infinova cameras watch over Kuwait Finance House

Kuwait Finance House, headquartered in Kuwait City with international operations in Bahrain, Malaysia and Turkey, is using over 1,300 Infinova high-resolution fixed and PTZ dome cameras plus 80 Infinova DVRs to watch over its 46 locations. In the bank’s new administration building, the organization is migrating to Infinova megapixel cameras and NVR software. All transactions and activities in each location of the Kuwait Finance House bank are now under the surveillance of Infinova indoor/outdoor, infrared, minidome and PTZ dome cameras. Video is recorded in continuous mode with Infinova high-definition H.264 DVRs. Each Kuwait Finance House branch deploys 32 to 48 Infinova cameras. Infinova DVRs are connected to the central control room located at the home office via a 512 Mbps DSL line and monitored by security personnel using Infinova remote client software. Rapport's financial malware disinfection removes malicious code that attempts to attack browser sessions

Zeus and other online fraud Trojans are increasingly being remotely reconfigured by criminals to deliver new, more targeted and more authentic looking attacks. For example, Trusteer recently discovered campaigns that use Zeus to exploit the familiar Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode security programs and launch regionally-focused attacks against specific banks. Recent studies from Trusteer and other fraud detection vendors show that antivirus solutions detect only 10 percent of active financial malware. Trusteer has added financial malware disinfection to its Rapport service. In addition to preventing Trojans like Zeus, Silon, Bugat, DBJP and zero day malware from tampering with website communications and transactions, Rapport now removes malicious code that attempts to attack browser sessions. Juniper Networks acquires SMobile to deliver a secure mobile Internet experience on any mobile smart device

Juniper Networks has announced its acquisition of SMobile, a provider of smart phone security. The Columbus, Ohio-based SMobile Systems, Inc., is a privately held software company focused solely on smart phone and tablet security solutions for the enterprise, service provider and consumer markets. The total transaction consideration at closing will be approximately $70 million in cash. SMobile's product portfolio protects devices running on Android, Apple iOS (which powers iPhones and iPads), Symbian, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile operating systems from viruses, spyware, identity theft and other threats, while providing parental and enterprise controls. Juniper will integrate this portfolio into Junos® Pulse, a software platform that brings ubiquitous connectivity, security and acceleration to smart phones, tablets, netbooks and notebooks. Imperva's Hacker Intelligence Initiative provides deeper insight on how cybercriminals conduct large scale cyber attacks

Imperva has announced its hacker intelligence initiative (HII), a research effort focused on providing deeper insight on how cybercriminals conduct large scale cyber attacks as well as shedding light on the evolution of the underground business of cybercrime. Part of Imperva’s Application Defense Center (ADC), the hacker intelligence initiative will investigate the anatomy of attacks as well as key hacking trends by exploring the cybercrime industry utilizing techniques including hack-back, forum monitoring and internet traffic surveillance. “Today, security research focuses heavily on vulnerabilities and problems.
