An agreement enabling INVIA to develop products incorporating Differential Power Analysis (DPA) countermeasures for use by licensees of CRI’s DPA patents has been announced yesterday by Cryptography Research. INVIA provides security-related semiconductor design IP and embedded software to ASIC and FPGA designers. “As part of our focus on delivering high-quality, tamper-resistant security blocks to our ASIC and FPGA customers, we are pleased to join the Cryptography Research DPA countermeasures developer ecosystem,” said Robert Leydier, INVIA’s president. “Working with CRI further strengthens the protection from major security threats we offer our semiconductor customers.” DPA is a form of attack that involves monitoring the fluctuating electrical power consumption of a target device and then using advanced statistical methods to derive cryptographic keys and other secrets. Introducing Samsung's updated SAMS access control management software

Samsung’s RFID and biometric technology based access control systems collectively provide a cost effective solution for any access control application from single door up to 28,000 doors with a choice of reader technologies which encompass fingerprint recognition, proximity and smart card & PIN, as well as time and attendance options. Samsung 's SAMS access control management software has been updated with the addition of a number of user and installer friendly features. Available license-free for projects with up to 1000 users and 40 doors (up to 80 readers), SAMS now has a Muster reporting feature which can be configured to produce a report as to who is on site at any given moment, as well as automatically generate a list in the event of a fire alarm activation. IndigoVision installs the latest digital surveillance technology in German Casinos

A governmental teal evaluated IP IP Video systems from all of the major manufacturers, using extensive testing and live trials, before choosing IndigoVision for the surveillance of nine Bavarian Casinos.
