ApNano establishes subsidiary to develop nanotechnology-based bullet-proof products.

ApNano Materials, Inc. has announced the establishment of a subsidiary of ApNano Materials that will develop and manufacture the company's new NanoArmor™ line of nanotechnology-based bullet-proof products. The new subsidiary will start with products that enhance the performance of personal safety items such as bullet proof vests and helmets, and will continue with protection products for vehicles and aircraft. The Nano Armor products will be based on ApNano’s proprietary nanospheres and nanotubes, which are excellent shock absorbing materials and among the most impact resistant substances known in the world today. Waterfall protects Israeli SCADA Systems

Waterfall Solutions is currently completing two implementations of its security solutions in leading Israeli Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) entities. The implementations in the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) and the Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company (EAPC) establish Waterfall Solutions as the choice for protecting SCADA systems. The Waterfall security solutions have been implemented in critical organizations and entities for several years already, through Gita Technologies. However, having changed its business strategy, Waterfall Solutions is now operating as an independent company, identifying new markets. Norbain acquires PTS Security

Norbain SD Limited has acquired certain assets of PTS Security based in Derby, England. PTS Security is a distributor specialising in the sales and support of complex CCTV solutions to an established customer base throughout the UK. PTS Security has ceased sales of Pelco CCTV equipment, but services warranties and collects monies due to it for sales prior to this date. Sales and marketing staff from PTS Security have been transferred to Norbain. Loomis acquires Brinks' UK cash handling operations

Loomis AB, Securitas' cash handling services division, has through its subsidiary Loomis UK Limited acquired Brinks' cash handling operations in Great Britain. Purchase price is approximately MSEK 15 (MGBP 1.1). The Brinks' UK cash handling operations consists of 350 employees, whereof 260 in England and 90 in Scotland. The operation has annual sales of approximately MSEK 180 (MGBP 13) and comprises of cash transportation and ATM services. The acquisition will be consolidated in Loomis from this week.... [more]
Northern Video Systems to Distribute ioimage Intelligent Video Appliances in North America

ioimage has signed a distribution agreement with Northern Video Systems to distribute its products to security systems integrators and dealers throughout North America. Northern Video serves systems integrators and dealers in North America and will distribute ioimage's products through its headquarters in Rocklin, California, and distribution centers in Texas and New Jersey.
