Loomis acquires Brinks' UK cash handling operations

Loomis AB, Securitas' cash handling services division, has through its subsidiary Loomis UK Limited acquired Brinks' cash handling operations in Great Britain. Purchase price is approximately MSEK 15 (MGBP 1.1). The Brinks' UK cash handling operations consists of 350 employees, whereof 260 in England and 90 in Scotland. The operation has annual sales of approximately MSEK 180 (MGBP 13) and comprises of cash transportation and ATM services. The acquisition will be consolidated in Loomis from this week.... [more]

Northern Video Systems to Distribute ioimage Intelligent Video Appliances in North America

ioimage has signed a distribution agreement with Northern Video Systems to distribute its products to security systems integrators and dealers throughout North America. Northern Video serves systems integrators and dealers in North America and will distribute ioimage's products through its headquarters in Rocklin, California, and distribution centers in Texas and New Jersey. Green and ethical policies can run hand in hand with security policies

Magenta Security Services continues to demonstrate the fact that green and ethical policies can run hand in hand with security policies. Their latest initiatives include a commitment to running only LPG vehicles by the end of 2008, a factor that was instrumental in their recent success during an ISO 14001 re-assessment. Magenta already has a substantial fleet of LPG run vehicles on the road, which was one of the environmental policy’s prime objectives. It also fits their continuing commitment to ISO 14001, an accreditation they have held for more than six years. Magenta was the first manned guarding company to achieve this standard with the British Standards Institute in Europe. Assa Abloy ITG acquires manufacturer of inlays for electronic identification documents
