IED security sweeps for Borderpol Annual Conference and Expo 2012 will be provided by Wagtail

Suppliers of Specialist Dog Services, Wagtail UK Limited have confirmed they will be exhibiting at next year’s Borderpol Annual Conference and Expo 2012 and as part of their involvement will provide explosive security sweeps on both days of the conference and exhibition. Wagtail is one of the UK’s leading specialist dog companies providing dogs and handlers for a wide variety of uses including detection of explosives, firearms, drugs, cash, tobacco, live bodies, human remains (cadaver) and search and rescue. Wagtail also provide dogs for use in wildlife detection. Their customers include the UK Border Agency for whom they are the sole provider of live body detection teams at border crossing points in Northern France. Acquisition of Visonic Ltd. expands Tyco’s presence in strategic markets and strengthens wireless

On 6th december, Tyco International Ltd. announced the acquisition of Visonic Ltd. is completed. Visonic Ltd. is a global developer and manufacturer of electronic security systems and components, for approximately $100 million in cash. The acquisition was first announced on September 15, 2011. Kaspersky Lab reveals breakthrough results and market growth in first half of 2011

Kaspersky Lab has announced it has gained a larger market share in the B2C sector. The company has the best growth indicators in European countries among the top four vendors. According to GfK data, in the first half of 2011 Kaspersky Lab held a number two position in the B2C sector in Western Europe, and took the first place in key countries, such as Germany and France. In the antivirus category, Kaspersky Lab has shown especially high results, demonstrated by its number one position, with 46 per cent of the European retail market in the first quarter of 2011. Tyco International strengthens intrusion security portfolio with Visonic acquisition

Tyco International Ltd. has reached an agreement to acquire Visonic Ltd., a global developer and manufacturer of electronic security systems and components, for approximately $100 million in cash.
