TOA voice alarm system installed at the Brussels Expo

Built for the World Expo of 1958 and still retaining all the glamour, elegance and modernity of that era, the 12 halls of the Brussels Expo play host to a string of major exhibitions and events every year, among them the industry show Batibouw, the farming event Agribex, and the ICT technology forum. Voice alarm products from TOA are at the heart of a new paging, evacuation and BGM system installed at the Brussels Expo, one of Europe’s most prestigious conference and exhibition venues. In 2008, the management of Brussels Expo approached Prévost System Integration (PSI) to design, supply and install a PA/VA and BGM system to replace the antiquated equipment that had previously been in use. Bosch Security Systems is one of the principal suppliers of security equipment for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. This event of global significance, which opened on May 1, 2010 and is scheduled to run until October 31, is expected to receive between 70 and 100 million visitors. Within the 5.3 square kilometer Expo site, exhibits from 192 countries and 50 organizations are on show. Over the six months that the exposition will run, it will host around 20,000 cultural performances. Vancouver Island's shopping mall deploys IndigoVision integrated IP Video security system

Vancouver Island’s leading fashion focused shopping destination has invested in an IndigoVision integrated IP Video security system, in what is believed to be the first mall in Canada to deploy a surveillance solution with 100% IP cameras. The 93-camera system, which covers the public areas inside the mall as well as the car parks and surrounding areas, was designed and installed by IndigoVision’s Approved Partner Laser Star Systems Ltd in partnership with Hoffman & Company Security Management Consultants Inc.
