Zenitel selected for the C2000 Public Safety Network in The Netherlands

Zenitel has announces its contract with vts Politie Nederland (vtsPN) for EARS (LARA 2), the European Tender for C2000 TETRA terminals, Non-TETRA equipment, accessories and services. Zenitel has delivered to the LARA (Landelijke Aanbesteding Rand Apparatuur) project in the past and was short listed for supplying all subscriber equipment for use in C2000, the nationwide TETRA network for the public safety and security forces in the Netherlands, in Quarter Two of this year. Today, there are over 80,000 TETRA and non-TETRA terminals in use. The importance of good working C2000 radio equipment and accessories is undisputed, all users of the digital radio network depend on its reliability. Movie theatre deals with theft to fraudulent personal injury claims with NetVu DVRs

The latest NetVu Connected Digital Sprite 2 (DS2) DVRs from Dedicated Micros are playing a pivotal role in helping US movie theatre managers and owners to effectively tackle anti-social behaviour, employee theft and the occasional faked slip-and-fall. Muvico owns 13 theatres in Florida, Maryland and Tennessee. Travel Management Companies have a duty of care to their clients

According to the Travel Incident Survey (TIS) carried out by Fisher Travel SOS on behalf of We Care, corporate travellers are being let down by Travel Management companies (TMCs) failure to deliver the appropriate duty of care. The survey found that 64% of the surveyed agencies were unable to provide assistance to travellers in case of an emergency and that only 19% of agencies provide details for embassies or consular services. Allen-Vanguard launches three new decontamination systems

Allen-Vanguard has launched three new decontamination systems for use in a wide range of situations from large-scale incidents to emergency spot decontamination of chemical, biological and radioactive hazards, and in response to accidents involving general toxic substances. The Dual Tank Integrated System on Trailer is a modular, heavy duty mobile CBRN decontamination system developed for the large scale decontamination of vehicles, buildings, equipment and terrain. Simple to operate and maintain, it is self contained and carries on-board chemicals, mixing, hoses and nozzles. Strange as it may seem, the office Christmas party is probably one of the biggest avoidable risks that many companies take. Many of the most risk-aware and best protected companies in the world seem prepared to throw an office party without conducting the sort of risk assessment that they would for any other aspect of their business. What are the risks? · Litigation Even if an organised office party takes place outside of working hours and away from company premises, the normal laws that protect workers and their rights still apply. If an employee is injured or abused in any way during an office party the company may well be legally liable. High risk areas include injuries, abuse and even death, due to alcohol and substance abuse.
