Delta Scientific Ships bio-defense Mail Room Inspection BioBooth to a U.S. embassy in Europe

Delta Scientific has announced the shipment of it first bio-defense Mail Room Inspection BioBooth to a U.S. embassy in Europe. Self-contained, prefabricated, pre-wired and UL-listed, the BioBooth mail screening booth has been designed for inspectors to safely receive and open mail, isolating the rest of the staff and facility from exposure if bio-hazards are delivered. The Mail Room Inspection BioBooth will be typically installed outside of a main building or inside a shipping and receiving warehouse. When attacked by biological hazards, facilities such as post offices will no longer face a lengthy closure. Upon discovering contaminated mail, the BioBooth can be sealed, quickly unbolted, and safely removed from public areas for decontamination. The intelligent air duct smoke detector

Bosch Security Systems has added an air duct model to its wide range of intelligent fire detectors. The new detector provides early warning of the presence of smoke in a building’s heating, air conditioning or ventilation ducts. Such detection helps to prevent injury, panic and property or equipment damage by reducing the circulation of smoke resulting from a fire elsewhere in the building. City of Dallas Replaces Existing Emergency Center Systems with NICE interaction analytics

The City of Dallas has selected NICE’s interaction analytics and its IEX workforce management solutions to improve emergency response and customer service in the city’s combined 9-1-1/3-1-1 communications center. The City of Dallas has a population of over 1.2 million people, making it the third-largest city in the state of Texas and the ninth largest city in the US. Beardwood High School tackles disruptions from students with Bosch Security Systems integrated CCTV system

Disruption to education is an ongoing and significant problem for schools across the UK but when Beardwood School, which is responsible for educating some 1,100 students, was experiencing disruptions from children setting off fire alarms during school time it decided to take drastic action to address the problem.
