A healthy security industry will Confidently ride out the storm in 2012

Memoori’s annual report on the world’s Physical Security industry showed that in 2011, despite a troubled economic climate, it increased revenues and profitability whilst merger and acquisition surged by more than double in the last 2 years to $9.847 billion. So the security industry looks like a safe port in the storm with 2 main factors contributing to its robustness. The first being the continued growth in emerging markets particularly Asia where they shrugged off the global economic downturn and the second is the growth in network video surveillance solutions. The latter will certainly continue to increase its market share despite poor economic trading conditions in 2012 and the former likewise will increase their share. Partnership between Goldshield Electronic Security and AIS Total Security advised by Cooper Parry Corporate Finance to provide electronic security systems to safeguard businesses

Goldshield Electronic Security acquired AIS Total Security, based in Southglade Business Park, Nottingham. The sale will see AIS become a key part of the Goldshield group as it aims to become the UK’S leading independent provider of fire and security systems. Mike Baines, managing director of AIS, said the new partnership will allow the business to grow quickly by giving access to new market sectors.
