Viseum website shows gallery of unsuspecting criminals caught in the act
posted on 31/12/2009

Viseum's new website features a 'rogues gallery' of unsuspecting criminals caught in the act, thanks to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's Intelligent Moving Camera (IMC). At the new-look Viseum website, local authorities and law enforcement agencies can view real footage, connect to real time live camera demos, and pre-register for forthcoming technology events. The website shows evidence of a drug deal that led to prosecutions. This is exactly the sort of crime that can remain undetected by standard PTZ cameras. The IMC is a well established and proven technology, research demonstrating 100% success rate in clearing up trouble spots. The added value in proactively yet cost-effectively preventing crime and anti-social behaviour is why an increasing number of organisations and local authorities in particular are turning to the Viseum IMC. Viseum’s Managing Director, Stuart Thompson, said: “A vital part of our sales process is to show off what Viseum IMCs can do to clea... [more]

posted on 25/12/2009

Critical incidents are becoming more frequent and with more far-reaching consequences. The combination of Orsus' security management software with NICE's security solutions, complemented by its vertical domain expertise, will enable its customers and partners to better protect city centers, transportation systems, critical infrastructure, and enterprise campuses. Orsus' Situator security management solution provides a framework for automating security practices and fusing data silos from disparate security and safety systems as well as multiple command and contro...
