IndigoVision IP Video technology used for Bangkok traffic monitoring

IndigoVision's technology is installed as the backbone for a new integrated traffic monitoring system for Bangkok’s outer ring road network. Existing toll plaza CCTV surveillance systems located across 75km of the ring road have been integrated into a new central control room. Staff in the control room can now view high-quality video from inside and outside of the four toll plaza complexes, providing central monitoring for traffic management and staff safety. Analogue video feeds from the 64 existing dome and fixed cameras are connected to IndigoVision’s 8000 transmitter/receiver modules locally at each toll plaza. The 8000 converts the camera signal to DVD quality, high-resolution digital video for transmission over the newly installed gigabit Ethernet LAN. Trolley-type mirror facilitates search for contraband under vehicles

Allen-Vanguard has re-launched its trolley-type mirror to help facilitate the easy and safe search for contraband under vehicles. The large mirror is attached to a long-reach handle and includes an energy efficient 12W fluorescent lamp to help users gain a clearer view of the underside of the car, van or lorry being examined. The lamp has a two metre flying lead for extended searches, and can also be used independently as a search lamp. To enable easy movement, the equipment is mounted on castors, and has a 33mm x 265mm convex mirror to offer a wide field of view. Finally, both the mirrors and light sources are replaceable. This device is available in three models. The D-cell model is powered by ten small batteries which fit into the handle and provide up to eight hours of continuous operation. Trading Standards implement integrated lone worker solution from Argyll

The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 specify that employers must identify potential hazards, assess the risks involved and put measures in place to avoid or control the risks associated with lone workers. When an Animal Health Officer from Cornwall County Council Trading Standards Service was attacked whilst on a site visit to a farm with a veterinary surgeon, they decided to review their lone worker protection. Now it has purchased Identicare as part of an integrated lone worker solution from Argyll.
