Brivo ACS WebService improves security and operations at Aurora Whole Foods warehouse

The Aurora Whole Foods warehouse handles produce, meat, cheeses, seafood, bulk items, and more through its 23 bay doors for shipping and receiving. Along with the bakery, the two facilities supply 28 Whole Foods stores in their four-state region. The Whole Foods warehouse located in Aurora, CO, near Denver, has installed Brivo Systems' Brivo ACS WebService to improve security and operations at the 110,000 square foot facility and adjoining bakery. Security Install Solutions is the integrator for this installation. CCSec provides comprehensive site security at Taylor Wimpey housing developments

Site security is becoming increasingly important to building firms as theft of equipment and vandalism can seriously hinder work and lead to contracts not being completed on time or within allocated budgets. Domestic burglaries are up but many thefts are committed without a forced entry

New research from Ageas Insurance shows that just under one in two adults (47%) don’t lock their front door as a rule when they are at home. And that’s when sneak-in crimes can happen. More than one in ten (13%) only ever lock their front door at bedtime. According to recent Home Office statistics, domestic burglaries are up 14%. Experts say that this could increase throughout the summer months as the weather starts to warm up and people venture into their gardens or leave their windows open. Ageas also recently unveiled statistics highlighting that homes across the UK display on average £1223 of valuables such as TVs, other electronic goods, antiques and works of art that are clearly displayed for would-be burglars to see through home windows. Nearly one in five people (18%) said that as much as £2,000 or more worth of valuables could be seen by a passer-by looking through a window. Genetec's Security Center delivers access control and video surveillance to the City of Sanford

The City of Sanford, Florida, has deployed Genetec’s Security Center unified security platform for both access control and video surveillance in their new Public Safety Complex - a 75,000 square foot complex which houses both Fire and Police headquarters as well as the city’s emergency operations center. The City of Sanford also chose Security Center to upgrade their five utility facilities and City Hall, which were already equipped with independent video surveillance and access control systems. Using the Federation feature in Security Center, the City of Sanford was able to pull all independent systems into the new Public Safety Complex’s platform and seamlessly manage all these systems as if they were one. The Omnicast video surveillance system and Synergis access control system within the Security Center solution manage a total of 106 cameras and just over 100 doors respectively across the federated platform.
