Toys ‘R’ Us is switching the intruder and personal attack alarm monitoring for its total UK estate to Chiron Technology’s Iris system. Adoption of the Iris technology means Toys ‘R’ Us will take advantage of Chiron’s secure IP-based dual-path alarm signalling and should reduce its alarm monitoring bill by around 70% compared with its previous use of existing line protection systems and back-up. Acro Intends to Acquire RAY Detection Technology Group

Acro, Inc. has announced it has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire RAY Detection Technology Group (RAY) in an all-stock transaction. RAY, an Israel-based company, develops and provides advanced inspection and detection systems. Safety monitoring on motorway widening

COE Limited has completed the supply of a major system to DW Projects for safety monitoring on the M1 widening scheme near Watford, London, UK. The 10 mile long Motorway widening scheme is planned for completion in December 2008 and will add a fourth lane to this southern section of the M1 between J6A and J10 that links to the M10 and M25 London orbital.
