Business Development Manager manned guarding services and security solutions
| Job description: | Our client provides cost effective manned guarding services and security solutions to a wide range of clients across the United Kingdom. They offer a fully accredited, quality driven service to help protect staff and property, whether it be in the commercial, retail or industrial sector. Our client has been in business since the mid 90’s and are holders of Approved Contractor status. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager. The role itself will involve the sale of manned guarding services, technology based security solutions (using GPRS technology e.g. CCTV and biometric devices) and a combination of the two. With their own monitoring centre and in association with their technology partners they can create an all encompassing solution for their clients needs. Candidates should be familiar with the entire sales process beginning with initial enquiry or lead finding, through to presentation, tendering and closing the sale. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable with a consultative sales approach mixing technology and traditional manned guarding to produce a tailored cost effective package for the client. Candidates must also have at least a basic knowledge of security technology and reside anywhere down the Birmingham to London spine. A background in either manned guarding and/or security systems would be considered at this stage.
