Miniature High Definition IP camera
(12/02/2007)
The AV1300 of High Definition IP camera has been miniaturized from 5” to 2.5” long. This enables it to fit into the smaller dome formats. It also reduces the weight by nearly half and power by 15%. Improved features include programmable alarm input/output including flash trigger/sync.
AV1300M is a 1.3 Megapixel resolution IP addressable camera designed to deliver full motion high definition digital video across local area networks. Delivering at a maximum rate of over 55 million pixels per second (55 Pixels/sec), AV1300M is a high resolution, high sensitivity, low power industrial and commercial grade camera delivering full motion HDTV progressive scan video.
Additionally it is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (POE) and provides electronic and/or DC auto-iris control functionality. Built with proprietary massively-parallel MegaVideo® technology, the AV1300M has the ability to output multiple image formats allowing the simultaneous viewing of zoomed and full field of view images.
The camera’s output give a maximum resolution of 1280(H) x 1024(V) pixels at a frame rate of 30 frames per second (FPS). It is possible to program the camera to output a variety of lower resolution images. The camera is equipped with a LAN connector and can deliver image data at a maximum data rate of up to 55 Megabits per second (55 Mbps). Images are sent over the network in a compressed Motion JPEG format using either TFTP or HTTP protocols.
The camera provides 21 levels of compression quality for optimal archiving. The camera supports Ping, ARP, TFTP and HTTP network protocols. Using a 100 Mbps network switch or router is recommended as simple hubs do not provide collision management and are not suitable for multi-camera megapixel system.
The camera features automatic exposure, automatic multi-matrix white balance, shutter speed control, 50/60Hz flicker avoidance, programmable brightness, saturation, gamma, sharpness, windowing and decimation, simultaneous delivery of full-field view and zoomed images at video frame rate, instantaneous electronic zoom, pan and tilt, and electronic image rotation by 180 degrees.
The AV1300M camera can be powered by up to a 48V DC power source providing at least 3W per camera. Alternatively, the camera can be powered over Ethernet with IEEE 802.3af compliant power supply. The camera supports standard DC auto-iris lenses, when equipped with the auto-iris feature.
