Blue Coat appoints regional sales director for EMEA

Blue Coat Systems, Inc. has appointed Stuart Henderson as its new regional sales director in EMEA, with sales territory responsibility for the UK, Ireland and sub Sahara Africa. Mr. Henderson joins Blue Coat from a leading provider of intelligent broadband gateways and routers for home and small office environments, where he served as a senior sales director for EMEA. Prior to 2Wire, Mr. Henderson served in senior sales management roles at WatchGuard and Polycom.
Stuart, who holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Management College, will be responsible for leading Blue Coat sales efforts across the region, maintaining leadership in the Application Delivery Networking market, and building the Blue Coat brand across EMEA through the development of its EMEA channel strategy.

Mr. Henderson will report directly to Craig Stewart, Blue Coat vice president of sales for EMEA. Commenting on Stuart’s appointment, Craig said: “Stuart is a highly successful sales director with substantial experience in the ICT sector in the EMEA region. He also has a proven track record of leading and building successful sales teams to address multiple go-to -market strategies with a diverse portfolio of products, services and solutions.”
