Middle East Petrochemical company licenses Intercede MyID for deployment of employee ID cards

Intercede has received an order from an Intercede partner to supply MyID® to a national petrochemical company in the Middle East Region. This award follows a competitive procurement process during which integration between MyID and Novell Identity Manager was demonstrated.
Richard Parris, Intercede’s Chairman and Chief Executive, said, "This contract award consolidates Intercede’s growing presence in the Middle East market and is further evidence of Intercede’s market leadership and competitive momentum. The integration with Novell is yet another example of MyID’s ability to interoperate with pre-existing infrastructure inside a complex large corporate environment."

Intercede's MyID is the only IDCMS software product that enables organizations to easily and securely manage the identities of people and their associated identity credentials within a single, integrated, workflow driven platform. This includes enabling and managing: secure registration, biometric capture, application vetting and approval through to smart card personalisation, issuance and management.
