FalconStor storage virtualization and data replication solutions now available for Oracle VM

FalconStor Software, Inc. has announced FalconStor's comprehensive support for Oracle®VM, Oracle's server virtualization platform. FalconStor's storage virtualization and data replication solutions for virtual servers are now integrated and available for Oracle VM, bringing a high level of data protection, recoverability and continuous availability to Oracle virtual environments.

"Oracle VM helps customers drive down the cost and complexity of their enterprise IT infrastructures, while FalconStor solutions introduce viable data availability and rapid recovery."
FalconStor® Network Storage Server (NSS), an intelligent storage virtualization and provisioning platform, integrates with Oracle VM to enable data mobility and centralized storage management for Oracle VM servers. FalconStor® Continuous Data Protector (CDP) integrates with Oracle VM deployments to provide WAN-optimized replication and to enable automated and seamless operations failover to a remote disaster recovery site.
FalconStor® Application Snapshot Director (ASD) for Oracle VM will bring application-consistent data protection to Oracle VM environments, guaranteeing transactional integrity to reduce recovery times and enable continuous data availability during storage or system failure. FalconStor® HyperTrac™ Backup Accelerator works with Oracle Secure Backup (OSB) to provide high-performance, zero-impact backups for Oracle VM servers by offloading backup processes from the virtual server.
