Cura Software Solutions has announced that following its successful acquisition by Indian publicly-listed SoftPro Systems, it has invested in additional research and development, sales, services and support personnel across new branch offices located in India and Singapore.

Cura Software Solutions’ investment in new staff and resources across these regions will accelerate the development of GRC solutions, further improving its customer service levels and the more broadly addressing untapped markets.

“The acquisition of Cura by Softpro has secured the additional capital we required in order to build our next generation GRC platform in a much shorter time period than originally estimated,” explains Avi Eyal, CEO of Cura.

“We have committed to hiring 90 research and development personnel across facilities in Hyderabad, India; South Africa; and the USA – with the first 30 personnel already recruited, and more to come,” Eyal explains.

Cura is also hiring additional personnel into its Indian and Singapore offices to fuel the sales and services aspects of the business, while and to forge closer relationships with regional channel partners and customers.

“We see the Asian market as one that remains largely untapped, especially in the GRC space. Since our solutions have been designed for universal applicability to customers’ environments regardless of the region or legal landscape and given our early successes with customers in Asia,we believe these territories will contribute a meaningful percentage to our revenues in the next year.” says Mark Bookatz, MD Asia Pacific.
