Praesideo Voice Evacuation and Public Address System installed at Instituto Ferial de Mérida

Merida in the Extremadura region of Spain features a spectacular new exhibition center – the Merida Exhibition Venue (Instituto Ferial de Mérida – IFEME). The center includes many old converted buildings with special characteristics. When it came to installing a sound system for the large center, the choice of the operators was clear, the Praesideo Voice Evacuation and Public Address System from Bosch.
Bosch engineers provided individual acoustic solutions for the different halls bearing in mind the special architecture of each of them and the wide coverage required. This included the new Hemi-directional Loudspeakers from Bosch with high quality sound, which are especially well suited for the high ceilings in the Merida exhibition halls. IFEME is, in fact, the first site in the world to have a state-of-the-art sound system of this type.
As a result of the equipment installed, IFEME not only has a Voice Evacuation System certified as compliant with the EN 60849 standard, but, thanks to the correct choice of loudspeakers, it can also reproduce very high-quality speech and music for its more cultural activities.
