Capgemini Partners partners with Stortext to provide secure Web-hosted document management solutions
(10/06/2009)
Stortext has announced it has partnered with Capgemini to provide a comprehensive hosted document management service for organisations that require mass processing, careful management and digitisation of business-critical documents, including key government agencies with highly sensitive information to protect.
Cheryl Nankoo, Business Development Manager, Capgemini, stated: “The protection and management of paper and digital documentation is the lifeblood for businesses and can save an organisation significant time and expense in terms of overheads and streamlining business processes. With no hardware or software purchases and implementations needed, Stortext enables our outsourced management services to run more smoothly by requiring minimal input from the client. Stortext’s Omnidox platform is the best on the market as it has the capacity to efficiently handle millions of documents and archive them in a way that allows easy and secure retrieval at a moment’s notice from any location. I look forward to working alongside Stortext to provide many more government agencies and large commercial operations with the world’s highest standard of document management available.”
Stortext’s Omnidox is one of the only SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) EDRM solutions that is fully web-hosted. The service features the best of Stortext’s previous SaaS offerings and a wealth of new functionality necessary to meet the expectations of the SME, FTSE and government marketplaces.
Mark Iveson, Sales Director of Stortext, said: “Partnering with Capgemini provides a huge opportunity for us to reach organisations with the biggest and most complex document management requirements because of their unrivalled expertise and knowledge of an organisation’s systems and their ability to effectively manage large scale operations. We knew that our solutions and staff would pass the rigorous audits to verify that we demonstrate the highest level of integrity to uphold government security-rated documentation, but a major obstacle would be the large-scale project management and client knowledge that only Capgemini is able to fulfil. I am delighted to be working with the world’s leading provider of outsourced IT and management services.”
Stortext clients have already realised a return on investment (ROI) in excess of 50%; the ability for end users to replicate labour has saved as much as 80% on expenditure.
