New VECTA pricing and sale policies

To meet better current market requirements and to take into account interest of HID direct dealers, Lynx Technologies has changed its pricing and sale policies. New pricing allows to suggest competitive prices and terms to our partners, as well as a cost-efficient solution even for entry-level sites.
VECTA modifications were simplified to make pricelist more clear and flexible. Now VECTA ACS is supplied in two modifications: Basic and Professional.
VECTA Basic is a cost-efficient entry-level access control system for small-scale facilities and supports up to 8 readers and not more than 1000 cards within one site. This modification is intended for access control system built on HID VertX hardware or Apollo Security hardware. VECTA Basic has all necessary applications for system configuration and basic alarm monitoring: Console, Basic Alarm mode, Cardholder Configuration and Reporter.
VECTA Professional is a powerful integrated security system for medium and large-scale sites and supports virtually unlimited number of hardware and up to 500.000 cards. VECTA Professional has all functionality of VECTA Basic plus Advanced Alarm Mode, Badge Design, Time & Attendance (Optional), Client and Server Automation, Build-in HTML Browser for custom HTML user interface. VECTA Professional can be completed with IP video drivers for Panasonic, Axis or IQinVision IP cameras. SDK (Software Development Kit) can be optionally supplied with VECTA Professional for 3rd party integration.
All VECTA modifications, including VECTA Basic, have powerful operator and permission control, audit subsystem, which allows to control operator's activity, and full-functional Security Groups for efficient access level management.
Both VECTA Basic and VECTA Professional can use one of the following database management systems: InterBase 2007 or MS SQL 2005. InterBase 2007 license is included in VECTA price. MS SQL 2005 should be bought separately.
New price list is effective from May 15, 2009 .
