TSSI Systems partners with Reader Options to distribute CAT 5 video door entry solutions
(19/03/2009)
TSSI Systems has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Reader Options to distribute a range of video door entry solutions which include CAT 5.
The CAT 5 video door entry cabling is designed to reduce installation costs by up to 50% when compared with traditional (hard wired) video door entry systems. The technology harnesses simple plug and play technology negating the need for additional wiring making installation and maintenance quick and simple, therefore reducing costs whilst increasing efficiency.
The new secure video solution comprises vandal resistant entrance panels, which are fully compatible with all variations of internal audio and video units, to ensure the ultimate in flexibility when installing the product. The plug and play nature of the technology, which uses RJ-45 connectors, allows for quick and easy deployment of the solution.
Complementing this will be a range of stainless steel panels incorporated with Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) style features, including yellow Hailo on-call buttons, Light Emitting Diode (LED) on-entrance panels, audible confirmation and a raised key symbol for RFID reading capabilities.
Stewart Hefferman, COO, TSSI Systems, said: “Reader Option’s range of CAT 5 products will enable us to deliver the most advanced yet cost effective range of video door entry solutions to our customers. Compared with traditional hard-wired video door entry solutions, the CAT 5 entry system saves the installer time and the end user considerable money. It’s a win win situation for all.”
Andrew Armour, Sales Director, Reader Options, commented: “TSSI’s commitment and market expertise was a key factor in our partner selection. With its impressive customer portfolio, the partnership promises to be successful with orders expected to increase considerably over the next few months.”
Additional to the CAT 5 video door entry solution, TSSI Systems will also be offering a one-way audio and video door entry and multi-apartment systems. The full range of products are designed specifically for security critical residential and commercial properties whilst also complimenting the aesthetic design of the building.
