TeleEye Introduces High Performance TeleEye RX-SE Network Storage Extension Unit for CCTV Video

CCTV systems require video storage to be greater, faster, more scalable, easy to manage and yet economical. Traditional DVRs cannot fulfill these requirements. In responding to this demand, TeleEye Group enhances TeleEye RX Series product line by introducing the TeleEye RX-SE Network Storage Extension Unit to deliver all of the above requirements at the same time.
TeleEye RX-SE Network Storage Extension Unit is specially designed for TeleEye RX Series Digital Video Recording Transmitters allowing extremely long period of recording possible. The system supports up to 2 internal hard drives. Its scalable architecture design can support 2 TeleEye RX-SE units with a RX360 or RX330 Series Digital Video Recording Transmitters through TCP/IP connection. The maximum storage capacity of the above configuration can be 4.5TB and users can now store video up to 6 months.
TeleEye RX Series Video Recording Transmitters can automatically detect all connected TeleEye RX-SE units on the system startup. With simple to use and user-friendly designs, user’s can operate the RX360 or RX330 Series Video Recording Transmitter in the same way, with or without the TeleEye RX-SE.
TeleEye RX-SE Network Storage Extension Unit is the best partner of the TeleEye RX Series Video Recording Transmitters. The whole system is the only video storage architecture that not only performs well on video recording and transmission via LAN, ADSL, PSTN or mobile network, but now can also provide extreme long period of recording.
TeleEye RX Series carries two ranges of high performance 4-, 8- & 16-channel video recording transmitter incorporating with proprietary compression technology named SMAC-M. SMAC-M is the first video coder in the world that outputs 5 independent digital video streams and allows users to record 60% longer than MPEG-4. Users can view instant video using their GSM / 3G mobile phones installed with TeleEye M-303 that connects to a remote TeleEye RX. TeleEye RX Series is one of the first video recording transmitters in the world that is compliant to the recognized British Code of Practice BS 8418:2003.
