(10/03/2009)
Panasonic can offer people greater peace of mind through the recent launch of the BL-C101 and BL-C121 Network Cameras. Recent Home Office figures reported the effects of the economic recession are making an impact on crime and with a 4% increase in domestic burglary people are increasingly concerned with finding better ways to secure their home or office whilst away.
These cameras enable remote monitoring of precious places from anywhere in the world and at any time from either a PC or mobile phone with each model packing in to its low profile design the option to detect moving objects such as humans and notify the user by email or audible alert on a PC.
For easy installation, the BL-C101 features Panasonic proprietary PoE, which supplies power and transmits images through a single cable whilst the BL-C121 features IEEE 802.11bg for fast and cable free data transfer. The inclusion of Plug-and-Play support on both models takes easy installation a step further by making network setup effortless.
Both of the new cameras can simultaneously transmit MPEG-4 video and JPEG images to a PC or other mobile device and feature an integrated web server and website allowing users to monitor video and control a variety of camera functions.
