EMD implements AppGate unified network access control solution

EMD, a professional services firm based in Malta, has installed the network access control solution from AppGate Network Security to ensure that client information and communications remain confidential and secure when staff are working away from the office. EMD chose to implement AppGate’s technology because it provides a comprehensive, easy to use and cost effective solution in one box, delivering the security, access control and tracking functionality necessary to protect business critical information whilst also allowing staff to work seamlessly from any location.

As a result of EMD’s significant growth over recent years, controlling and securing the flow of information has become more challenging as client data has become dispersed across different locations while mobile computing has increasingly enabled staff to work remotely.
