DeviceLock Opens European Training Center to Serve Fast-Growing Sales Channel Network
(16/01/2009)
DeviceLock, Inc. has announced the opening of an on-site training center for the rapidly increasing number of DeviceLock channel partners in Europe.
Due to increasing awareness of the insider threat to data security and high demand for DeviceLock® software to cover vulnerabilities like unchecked USB drive access, many software distributors, solution resellers and IT systems integrators across the continent are seeking to partner with DeviceLock. The new Ratingen-based training center will provide a central location where new channel partners can come together for DeviceLock classes and networking, so that they are equipped to effectively promote, sell and support DeviceLock products in European countries.
The on-site training center will be a vitally important component of the new DeviceLock sales partner program, offering a comprehensive set of partner support options, real-time productivity tools, as well as sales and technical training sessions and partner seminars.
“DeviceLock Inc. will be offering courses in English and German languages here, and we believe both technical and sales specialists will receive high-quality training in a time- and cost-effective manner,” explained Guido Kinzel, Managing Director of DeviceLock Europe GmbH. “The training center itself is designed to promote productive learning and is fully equipped with all necessary technical tools and facilities. Just a 10 minutes drive to Dusseldorf International Airport, our building is surrounded by a host of affordable accommodations and has convenient public transport connections to the airport and train stations.”
“The DeviceLock European training center is not only a necessary infrastructure tool for supporting the ongoing growth of our channel partner network,” added Ashot Oganesyan, DeviceLock CTO and Founder.
“In these times of global financial and economy crisis, when forecasted operational budget cutbacks are expected to significantly affect corporate IT security spending, the attractiveness of any information security product will depend not only on its price level but – to a large extent – on the efficient and professional performance of all the components of the entire product delivery channel, including sales, pre-sales and post-sales support services. In this sense, the training center in Germany will play a key facilitating role in our strategic effort to increase the technical and sales competence of our channel partners.”
