H and T Pawnbrokers chooses SANYO as its preferred supplier of CCTV systems
(09/12/2008)
Established in 1897, H & T Pawnbrokers currently has 105 outlets throughout the UK offering a range of services including pawnbroking, new and second-hand jewellery sales, cheque cashing, payday advances and unsecured loans. H & T Pawnbrokers, has chosen SANYO as its preferred supplier of CCTV systems.
“We want to provide our services in a secure and friendly environment but of paramount importance is the safety of our staff,” said Gareth Bradford, Head of Security for H & T Pawnbrokers. “CCTV provides an essential role in deterring criminal activity but in the event of an incident, it is good to know that we will have high quality video evidence to pass onto the police.”
Gareth is using SANYO as a one stop shop for all H & T Pawnbrokers’ CCTV requirements. “From a compatibility point of view, it makes sense to source all the component parts of our CCTV systems from the same manufacturer,” added Gareth. “I wanted to buy from a well established CCTV ‘brand’ so that I could be assured of a good after sales service and an upgrade path as and when new technology is introduced. SANYO was recommended to us by an installer and we have been so pleased with the effectiveness of the equipment that we have written SANYO into the specification of all our new stores which we are currently opening at the rate of one per week.”
Each H & T Pawnbrokers outlet is equipped with a combination of high resolution vandal resistant colour dome cameras, a remotely accessible DSR-5709P DVR which can record images from all the cameras at 520 TV lines and a high performance colour monitor. “We want villains to know that we take security very seriously. Our CCTV systems play an important role as the visible sign of a wide range of measures we have implemented to maximise security at all our stores.” said Gareth.
