Clearswift helps organisations apply consistent data loss prevention policies across internal email
(18/11/2008)
Clearswift has released a new version of its internal e-mail policy enforcement and content inspection tool, EXCHANGEmanager. The updated version simplifies the ability for organisations to apply consistent data loss prevention policies across internal e-mail.
“The issue of data loss prevention should be high on every organisation’s agenda,” says Richard Turner, CEO at Clearswift. “However, many organisations neglect the risk posed by internal e-mail and have been put off by the perceived complexity and disruption of data loss prevention solutions. Clearswift’s EXCHANGEmanager 5.3, combined with MIMEsweeper for SMTP, provides a powerful, easy-to-use, and cost effective solution for securing internal e-mail, and preventing data loss.”
EXCHANGEmanager integrates closely with Clearswift MIMEsweeper for SMTP to analyse every e-mail passing through a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007 environment to enforce internal e-mail policy. EXCHANGEmanager stops inappropriate content circulating within an organisation and ensures e-mail policy is enforced, while enabling normal business to flow.
EXCHANGEmanager 5.3 has been designed to function in both Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and 2003 environments. It uses a completely new interface reflecting Microsoft’s move towards a new .Net based SMTP service used on its hub and edge transport server roles in Exchange 2007.
EXCHANGEmanager 5.3 in combination with MIMEsweeper for SMTP now provides you with total control over your e-mail environment and allows you to:
· Understand the exchange of all e-mails within your network,
· Enforce appropriate e-mail interactions,
· Secure all e-mail payloads, and
· Ensure that your reputation is not damaged by mistakes, or attempted malicious data leakage activity
