Tufin Technologies has announced that SecureTrack 4.4 provides support and interoperability with Fortinet's unified threat management (UTM) systems used by enterprises and MSSPs. In addition, SecureTrack 4.4 includes greatly enhanced rule and object change tracking reports. Through advanced filtering options, security administrators can tailor change reports to best meet their specific requirements.

Key New Features in SecureTrack 4.4:

• Support for Fortinet’s FortiGate UTM Systems - SecureTrack’s real-time change management, policy analysis and auditing capabilities can now be implemented throughout Fortinet environments in addition to the previously supported Check Point, Cisco and Juniper environments.

• Enhanced change report filtering – change reports are fully customizable, with real-time notifications and detailed reports at the rule or object level. This allows enhanced monitoring of critical network infrastructure to prevent mis-configuration.

“In light of the growing complexity of networks and the increasing difficulty in securing and managing them, Tufin’s SecureTrack meets a real operational need,” said Ariel Avitan, Security Analyst for Frost & Sullivan. “Tufin has consistently kept up with security market requirements and has done so once again with the newly added support for Fortinet’s FortiGate UTM systems. With Fortinet increasing its market share rapidly in the past few years in the firewall and UTM space, Fortinet support was the natural next step for Tufin’s SecureTrack.”

Additional SecureTrack 4.4 Features:

• Change tracking and policy analysis: Real-time firewall policy change monitoring and reporting, including a comprehensive audit trail for full accountability.

• Rule base clean-up and optimisation: Analysis and clean-up of complex rule bases and objects to eliminate potential security breaches and improve firewall performance.

• Risk analysis: Simulation and identification of potential security breaches to ensure compliance with organizational security standards and prevent service outages.

• Multi-vendor visual monitoring: Intuitive, graphical views of firewall policies, rule bases and configuration changes for Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet and Juniper firewalls, as well as Cisco routers and switches.

• Regulatory Compliance: Support for industry regulations including PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, ISO 17799 and Basel II.

“SecureTrack’s support for the FortiGate line of UTM systems underscores our commitment to providing broad support for our enterprise and service provider customers,” said Shaul Efraim, Vice President of Products, Marketing and Business Development for Tufin. “Fortinet customers will benefit from Tufin’s offering of fully interoperable Firewall Operations Management solutions, allowing IT administrators unmatched capabilities for managing and auditing policy changes, analyzing security and business continuity risks and complying with corporate and industry regulations like PCI-DSS and SOX.”

“Tracking changes throughout hundreds of firewall rules is a formidable challenge in itself. On top of that, more often than not, our large enterprise customers have multi-vendor firewall environments and are left with no choice but to handle each of them individually,” said Dan Turner, Chief Technology Officer for Vistorm, a channel partner for Tufin. “With the added support for Fortinet, Tufin’s SecureTrack allows us to provide our customers with an even more comprehensive solution for automated management of heterogeneous firewall environments.”

General Availability for SecureTrack 4.4 is scheduled for November 28th. SecureTrack pricing starts at $10,000.
