Blue Tree Services opens a Northern European Office in Brussels
(09/10/2008)
Enormous advances in hardware technologies coupled with the deployment of Broadband Internet has driven the growth and rapid convergence of complementary mobile telecommunication technologies. This has allowed mobile phones to now come with high quality GPS positioning chips, mapping software and GPRS mobile data communications as standard. Blue Trees’ software applications have enabled the integration of these emerging technologies to deliver simple user friendly tracking solutions.
Mike Smuts CEO of Blue Tree Services says “we have seen phenomenal demand for our products across all our key geographic regions. We have focused on markets such as Lone Workers, Duty of Care Organisations, Adults at Risk, Logistics and Service & Maintenance companies. Demand is driven by the need of individuals to be tracked and located. In an emergency when a controlled response is required, this can be initiated. Equally, companies want to optimise the management and efficiency of their mobile workforce, to reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction and be compliant with employment legislation”.
Philippe Demeuter Vice President Northern Europe says “the demand for tracking services in Europe is experiencing exponential growth in part because of the rapid expansion of mobile networks across Europe, enabling true international call roaming. The establishment of this office means we can now deliver BlueTree’s products and services to these international markets. We are poised to build on this pent up demand and increase our market share. Our objective is to supply and customise our continuous tracking product and services, to all European local markets that need exceptional customer service”.
