APPRO TECHNOLOGY launches IP box-type camera

APPRO TECHNOLOGY INC. has launched a new IP box-type camera, LC-7228, which supports the all-new H.264 compression technology.
The LC-7228 provides simultaneous video stream of H.264 & MJPEG in 520TV lines. Its smart UPnP function offers user-friendly operations and installations via its mini USB interface and reacheas simple plug & play setting process. Its D1 resolution, 25/30 fps frame rate, motion detection, two-way audio, a built-in microphone, and pre-alarm and post-alarm functions gives users an easy monitoring method.
LC-7228 comes with new Central Management Software (CMS), a license free video management software developed by APPRO - enabling users to deploy a complete end-to-end IP Video solution based on not only H.264, but also MPEG4 and Motion-JPEG compressions. The LC-7228 offers a reduction of up to 50% in bandwidth and storage requirements from the LC-7224 / 7225 / 7226 ranges or significantly higher video quality for the same bandwidth usage.
The new CMS offers recording and management of numerous APPRO cameras or video servers via grouping concept for easier monitoring and operations than previous version (IP Surveillance). Users can record video continuously, on schedule, on alarm and / or on motion detection. It has search function for record events.
The remote client feature allows users to remotely acces live video and recorded footage. It is fully compatible with current IP products, ensuring that any existing APPRO installations can be upgraded with products from either model.
