(30/05/2008)
TOA Electronics, Inc. has announced the release of their new C-CV854D-9 Vandal Resistant Day/Night Color Mini-Dome.
This high-resolution surveillance camera is for indoor and outdoor use with both day and night coverage capability. It operates as a color camera in daylight, and as a highly sensitive monochrome camera in darkness. The camera body is constructed of die-cast aluminum alloy, with a polycarbonate dome cover making it resistant to vandalism and abuse.
The unit’s dustproof and waterproof construction enables it to be mounted to an outdoor wall or ceiling without requiring any additional equipment or sealants to protect the camera against harsh weather conditions.
Additionally, the C-CV854D-9 camera is flicker-free, offers a backlight compensation function to offer the versatility of quality performance under various lighting conditions and features a 3-axis mount making challenging applications a breeze without additional mounting hardware, saving equipment costs and reducing installation labor.
The cameras offer an easy to use focus adjustment switch to achieve perfect focusing in both daylight and low-light conditions in just minutes.
Flexible power requirements mean dual voltage (selectable 24V AC or 12V DC), and is equipped with a 3-9mm lens meeting the majority of requirements for educational, institutional, and commercial industrial applications. TOA’s CV-Series camera line is environment friendly with power consumption nearly 1/3 of traditional cameras making the line attractive for “green” conscious buyers concerned with conserving our natural resources.
This new camera is competitively priced, and backed by the company’s three-year warranty.
