Jomu assists security businesses in becoming industry compliant

The message doing the rounds of many a security company this month, is that when it comes to the paperwork involved in gaining Approved Contractor Schemes and ISO 9001:2000 accreditations, it’s best left to the experts.

The two women directors from outsourcing company Jomu Ltd are finding that their straight talking approach is hitting the spot of many a Security company MD, who has neither the time, nor the knowledge to pour over days of paperwork trying to establish where the gaps lie for the legislation requirements.

Wendy Munro, and Andrea Jones, have this month launched another string to their bow of support, assisting security businesses in becoming industry compliant, in the face of government guidelines.

Wendy and Andrea have been taking the bull by the horns, and leading businesses, step by step, through the complex nature of achieving quality assurance accreditations to ensure that with nearly 90 indicators that must be adhered to, their clients are well placed to achieve a pass rate, and are clear on what is required of them in the future. They offer an outsourcing service of working with the business to ensure they have all the relevant systems, documents and procedures in place and if not, puts them in place to enable them to move forward in the scheme application.

Chris Burton, M.D of Mayfair Security, one of the first companies to take on Jomu for such support said: “Mayfair Security appointed Jomu to work on our ISO extension of scope and our ACS Accreditation application.
