MicroWorld partners with microCAT to target SMB and Enterprise market in Germany

MicroWorld Technologies has signed up an agreement with Germany’s IT solution provider and consultants, microCAT GmbH, appointing them as the firm’s Enterprise Partner for Germany. The partnership will enable both companies to work together in helping organizations and business houses better protect their Information Systems.
microCAT has an established client base comprising of companies from various industries and service segments. Some of the key areas of microCAT’s operations are Mobility Solutions, Information Worker solutions, and Networking Infrastructure solutions.
Ravi Shankar, Country Manager of MicroWorld GmbH, said on the business association: “The partnership with microCAT will enable us to leverage our technological advantage with their tremendous understanding of the German market pulse. We will work with microCAT to actively promote our solutions eScan and MailScan to Enterprises and SMBs looking for centrally managed security”.
“Germany is the land of Precision Engineering where there’s no tolerance for products that fail to deliver high performance on a consistent basis. A comprehensive solution that protects organizational networks against Virus, Trojan, Worm, Spam, Phishing and other threats and also provides effective Internet Filtering options is what most German firms are looking forward to,” Ravi Shankar added.
Markus Stinner, Managing Director of microCAT said on the occasion: “Security market in Germany is expanding at a fast rate and there’s increasing demand for comprehensive solutions out here. The partnership with MicroWorld will enable us to deliver tailor-made solutions for various business segments and address their needs and concerns in dealing with a whole lot of security threats”.
“Right now, gateway based security products for Proxy Server and Mail Server have a huge market in this part of the world. As MicroWorld offers a range of solutions in AntiVirus, AntiSpam and Content Security that work at the gateway level, we are confident to make significant advancements in these areas in year 2008,” Markus Stinner concluded.
