(27/12/2007)
Established in 1991, Grosvenor Travel is one of UK’s largest Corporate Travel Management companies. It works with well-known international organisations and smaller businesses to ensure that corporate travel is planned and booked effectively.
The Anvil Group has announced that Grosvenor Travel has chosen its Employee Travel Monitoring System (ETMS) to provide its clients with a flexible solution to track employees’ travel movements’ worldwide.
With ‘duty of care’ obligations being top of mind for many businesses, Grosvenor Travel turned to The Anvil Group to provide it with a solution to monitor its clients’ business travellers, regardless of travel locations.
“We looked at different solutions in the market and felt that ETMS was ideal for our – and our customers’ – needs. The Anvil Group listened to our needs and developed the solution to suit our requirements perfectly,” says Grosvenor Travel’s Managing Director, Dominic Joyce. “ETMS provides us with a flexible solution to provide a duty of care to our corporate clients. We can bring up a thorough risk assessment with a click of a mouse, without trawling through multiple sources.”
One of Grosvenor’s customers, Premier Oil, an independent oil and gas company, has been utilising ETMS to provide advance warnings about potentially hazardous locations. “The ETMS easily enables corporate travel bookers and travellers to have the very latest risk information about destinations prior– and during travel at their fingertips,” says Premier Oil Group HSE Manager, Paul Dennis. “We can use the ETMS to provide a live risk assessment of travel destinations and associated risks.”
The ETMS Agency edition provides corporate travel management companies with a tangible solution to provide up to minute information on which employees are out on company business, those that are en-route and due to depart. In addition ETMS provides corporate travel management companies with the following benefits:
· Real time traveller tracking and communication
· Graphical maps displaying all travel locations
· Alerts and emergency briefings sent to travellers
· Data consolidated from multiple booking sources
· Pre trip travel intelligence and contingency planning
· Evacuation and repatriation programs
“Businesses need to be aware of risks to travellers at all times,” says The Anvil Group Director, Matthew Judge. ”With the advent of the Corporate Manslaughter Bill, businesses need to provide a duty of care obligation to their employees more than ever before; ETMS helps Grosvenor Travel and Premier Oil to meet this obligation by providing a live country-based risk management solution that helps keep employees out of harms way.”
