PaperMarque bespoke watermark stops document fraud

Document fraud is a major problem for businesses and institutions as they are often exposed to counterfeiting techniques that are increasingly sophisticated and widespread.
Bespoke stationery combining style with security is now available following the launch of PaperMarque from River Press, a new concept in watermark paper. PaperMarque combines the prestige of a premium identity with the security feature of a company or individual’s unique watermark embedded in the fibres of the paper so that it cannot be copied, scanned, photocopied or reproduced in any way.
Ten years in the development, PaperMarque can be produced in quantities as low as 1000 sheets and on paper ranging from 80 to120 gsm. A variety of papers can be used for the process including textured, recycled, etc for a wide range of uses including letterheads, compliment slips and forms. Customers can have a watermark of a company logo or name, family crest, special event logo or a security feature on legal documents, certificates, event tickets, HIP packs, ballot papers - the possibilities are endless.
PaperMarque discourages duplication and alteration thanks to its unique watermark technique. Now instead of a company needing to purchase separate business stationery and security paper, PaperMarque enables businesses to combine aesthetics with practicality, fusing the two functions into one.
Available direct from River Press, the print division of S. F. Morrish & Sons, PaperMarque generally costs the equivalent of printing an extra colour. Ordering PaperMarque from River Press is fast and easy with samples provided on request. Customers can receive a proof of the watermark prior to printing.
Where security is an issue, River Press can supply a Papermarque image to clients on plain paper for use in their own printers or can provide a complete print service from their 15,000 square foot facility in Salisbury, Wiltshire. From here the company undertakes a complete print management service from business cards and envelopes to full-colour brochures and folders distributing printed goods to multiple sites around the world.
