GuardNVR 3.9 links POS transaction data with corresponding video footage
(23/07/2007)
Quadrox NV has announced the release of GuardNVR version 3.9 with advanced features. GuardNVR is a high quality web-based network video recording and managing software from Quadrox that supports applicable IT Standards.
The new GuardNVR version 3.9 maintains a solid scalable video recording platform, while representing additional functionality for its users. GuardNVR version 3.9 allows for monitoring Point-of-Sale transactions remotely by linking POS transaction data with corresponding video footage. Its use leads to enhanced in-store control and reduced cash and product shrinkage.
GuardNVR version 3.9 introduces Digital Signatures Verifier, which allows tracking the source of the video and proving its authenticity. In case of an incident, trust in the video material is maintained, even if it is transported in an insecure way (e.g. over the Internet).
With GuardNVR version 3.9 it is now possible to automatically export and upload to an FTP site those video files, which were recorded during alarm situations. Such functionality prevents situations when important video files are deleted without acknowledgement of the user.
With the latest release of GuardNVR 3.9, users can now select from over 250 models of IP cameras. New driver support has been added for ACTi, IQinVision, Ernitec, WebCAM, and XenICs infrared cameras. Additionally new cameras from Axis, Arecont, ApproTech, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sony, Eneo and Videoline are supported. The software can be additionally run on Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate and Enterprise.
