Social Security Administration Extends USProtect Contract

USProtect has announced that the Social Security Administration (SSA) has granted USProtect an extension of its contract to provide physical security services to the SSA Metro West Building Complex in Baltimore, Maryland (SSA Metro).

“USProtect consistently provides quality service in accordance with all contractual requirements,” said Leslie Kaciban, Vice President of Operations for USProtect. “The company conducts monthly meetings, as well as quarterly reviews, with SSA representatives, which allows us to stay current with the client’s security needs and to provide superior service. Our quality assurance program ensures we are delivering the best possible protection for our clients.”

Under the extension, USProtect will continue to operate an armed/unarmed, uniformed security force for SSA-Metro through September 2005. USProtect’s security services for SSA include armed security patrols, traffic control, visitor access control, maintenance of entry/exit logs, crime and theft prevention, and emergency response. USProtect also provides safety inspections, in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations, and security risk assessments, helping the agency to maintain its elevated security level. As a contractor, USProtect furnishes all labor, technically trained security professionals, management and supervisory personnel, occupational health screening, training, and all equipment and supplies.
