USProtect Awarded U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Contract

USProtect has been awarded a contract under the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Service Schedule to provide, operate, and maintain an armed, uniformed security force for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Year-round, 24-hour protection will be provided to USDA’s National Plant Germplasm & Biotechnology Laboratory, located in Beltsville, Maryland. USProtect will supply security services such as visitor access control, crime and theft prevention, maintenance of entry/exit logs, roving armed security patrols, and emergency response.
“The transition was executed without flaw and we received praise from our client. The USProtect team worked hard to avoid potential problems in a timely manner,” said Les Kaciban, Vice President, Operations.
As a federal contractor, USProtect will furnish all labor, technically trained security professionals, management and supervisory personnel, occupational health screening, training, and all equipment and supplies.
