Magenta Security Services takes further steps in their green journey

ISO14001: For the seventh year they have gained ISO 14001 accreditation, earning a wealth of positive comments from their assessors. Magenta was the UK’s first ISO 14001 accredited security firm, gaining their first standard in 2001.
LPG Vehicles: Magenta has begun the last stage in their conversion to an entire fleet of LPG vehicles. Magenta has been providing LPG vehicles for use on client contracts for the last two years but has now stepped this process up a gear to include all guard vehicles and even management / sales pool cars.
Carbon Neutral: Through an extensive process of reduce, reuse and recycle, Magenta has dramatically decreased their effect on the environment during the last two years. The remaining carbon emissions are now being offset through a variety of schemes, including tree planting, a process which has earned the company the “Carbon Neutral” status. Magenta is possibly the first manned guarding company in the UK to achieve such an environmentally friendly status.
Magenta, managing director, Abbey Petkar: “Retaining our position as the greenest company in the industry requires constant investment and work. But it is a status we are happy to strive and work for.”
