Editorial policy
Submit your press release
We welcome submissions of articles and case studies, as long as our guidelines are respected. As a general rule, a good press release should be new (if it is 'old news' we are not really interested unless there is a new angle for this topic), relevant and focussed: Our readership is highly targeted and is made up of Security professionals, end users, installers, resellers and manufacturers who have a strong interest in Security Products, Systems and Services. We will only consider for publication articles that are interesting to our audience, i.e. strongly related to the Security industry. We are not interested in self promotion, awards won or general business articles.
Alternatively, you can submit your press releases, technical papers and case studies , as we can only accept content in electronic format: plain text email or Word document for text (no PDF please), gif or jpg for photos. Press releases sent by post will NOT be considered for publication.
Technical guidelines
There is no charge for publishing news stories. Send your press releases, feature articles and case studies by email to our editorial team, as we can only accept content in electronic format: plain text email or Word document for text (no PDF), gif or jpg for photos. Press releases sent by post will not be considered for publication. The minimum length for an article should be 500 words, preferably 1,000 words or more.
Does Security Park publish all press releases we receive?
We will review all releases that we receive, but we cannot guarantee that we will publish them all: A number of press releases we receive are not relevant enough to our audience, or do not meet our editorial guidelines. In addition, we just receive too many press releases on similar topics and simply cannot cover them all. Our experienced editorial team will select topics that are best suited to our audience. We reserve the right to edit and publish any material that is sent to us - if you do not want us to publish your release, then do not send it to us. We also reserve the right not to publish those releases that we deem are not relevant to our target audience, or related to a topic that ee have already extensively covered.
Offering you more
Security Park is an online publication - our business is to deliver quality and up-to-date industry news, not printing and mailing paper. Therefore, we do not have the constraints of printed magazines: We publish news daily and do not have the need for a features list or an editorial calendar. All topics get reviewed as soon as they get released, so you do not have to wait for several weeks before your news stories are published (conversely to paper magazines). Furthermore, we have no limitation on the length of the article, which can be as long as it needs to be. And all published articles will remain available 'forever', through our searchable archives.
In addition to industry-specific resources and our online directory, Security Park offers a selection of cost effective ways to promote your products and services to our wide audience of Security professionals.
