New package allows VideoCAD users to import 3D models from 3DSMAX to VideoCAD

VideoCAD is a tool of view area and cameras’ arrangement calculation that help users in designing CCTV of any complexity and functions. А new free package for VideoCAD users has been released. It is designed to export 3D models and scenes from 3DSMAX to VideoCAD.
The 4.0 version of VideoCAD has introduced the opportunity for 3D modeling of video surveillance objects using constructions and 3D models distributed with the program. The distribution kit of VideoCAD 4.XX includes several most relevant 3D models for CCTV designing.
Any 3D models and scenes which can be opened in 3ds max can be added to the VideoCAD library. Many 3D models can be downloaded from Internet for free, some of them are distributed as libraries on CD-ROMs. Users can also create models and scenes in 3ds max.
