A new example of Apple Mac OS X malware has been discovered. In many ways the malware, which Sophos detected as OSX/Jahlav-A, is very similar to the RSPlug financially-motivated malware that we first saw this time last year. In February 2006, in the wake of the discovery of the first Mac OS X worm, research showed 79% of computer users believed Apple Macintoshes would be targeted more in the future.
