Veracity OUTREACH PLUS extends PoE to network domes, PTZ cameras and wireless access points(14/07/2009)
Security installers have been frustrated by the restriction of only offering a maximum of 100 metre Ethernet cabling runs to network cameras when they are used to being able to lay 300 metre lengths of coax to CCTV cameras. Veracity has announced OUTREACH PLUS, which uses the brand new 802.3at PoE standard, or ‘PoE Plus’.
