Koobface Trojan plagues popular social networking sites(10/12/2008)
Facebook is currently being plagued by a malicious Trojan dubbed “Koobface”. The Trojan generates messages to friends of infected users prompting them to click on an infectious link. Once infected, users are directed to contaminated sites when they try to use search engines. This could expose users to other risks, including credit card fraud and identity theft.
