Honeywell has announced that its new Active AlertŪ v4.7 video analytics solution, has been evaluated by the UK Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) and has been confirmed as an Imagery Library for Intelligent Detection Systems (i-LIDSŪ) approved system both as a primary detection system for operational alert use and as an approved event based recording system for sterile zone monitoring applications. Honeywell has announced that it has incorporated many new features into the latest release of its Fusion III line of digital video recorders that raise the product beyond the traditional analogue DVR role and bridge the gap between DVRs and NVRs. Fusion firmware release v3.5 includes enhancements such as fully integrated video and data analytics and expanded support for digital IP video sources.
